Design, Act and Celebration is a participatory installation created for the ADCE Festival that invites reflection on the transformative power of creative union. Each person ties a thread onto a rope under construction, symbolising how the fragile becomes strong when interwoven. With the strength of all the threads combined, the large box holding the experience was opened, revealing the next collective act. The rope, capable of moving a piece of wood, becomes a metaphor for the mountains we can move together.
The experience culminates in an act of community: participants open a box of drawers containing the food, organise into groups and, with trestles and available materials, creatively set up their own spaces to share and celebrate. Eating thus becomes an exercise in design, collaboration and the creation of collective ecosystems.
