Water Bar by GROHE is a gastronomic and artistic installation designed by Elsa Yranzo to present the GROHE Sense system in Barcelona.
Conceived as a water-making laboratory, the installation proposed an immersive experience inviting reflection on the value of this essential resource and imagining a dystopian future in which water was scarce and could only be obtained through artificial production.
The entire visual and gastronomic proposal was built around the universe of water. From the surfaces to the recipes, every element was designed to communicate, through the senses, the core message of GROHE Sense: an innovative system for controlling water consumption and detecting leaks.
The jellies formed the edible core of the installation. Their shapes, textures and transparencies evoked the liquid nature of water, as well as its fragility, purity and value.
