Design and production of the gastronomic installation for the third edition of Flow Series by Fundació Han Nefkens and Fundació Tàpies.
The installation was the result of researching the guest artist and their work, and reinterpreting both through food.
In this edition the guest artist was the Iranian Arash Nassiri, and the installation was inspired by his work Tehran-Geles (2014) — a piece that, to my mind, offered a reading of the future of cities.
With the installation I wanted to represent my vision of eating in the city of the future. A critique of the abusive use of new technologies, of globalisation, of fast food, of the depersonalisation of food, of plastification… A gastronomic future manipulated and dominated by large industries and monopolies, where packaged, processed food will reign and be distributed to citizens according to social, productive or economic criteria.
In several of the proposals we nodded to the artist's native cuisine.
